Daily competitor rate intelligence, prioritised pricing recommendations, booking pace analysis, and market reports — built for independent hotels and hospitality businesses.
RateRadar is for any property or business that needs to understand what the market is charging — and wants recommendations on what to do about it.
Properties that want to price competitively without the cost of a full revenue management system. RateRadar gives you the market picture your OTA extranet doesn't — without the spreadsheet work.
Professionals managing rates across one or more properties who need a fast daily read on how their rates sit against the comp set — without spending an hour checking OTAs manually every morning.
Corporate and extended-stay operators who don't sell on OTAs and need to know what the market is doing before they quote on a contract. RateRadar's market intelligence view is built for this use case.
Intermediaries who price group accommodation and need current area market data to inform their proposals. See what hotels in an area are charging and where demand is building — before you commit a rate.
RateRadar pulls competitor rates from OTA data every day for your configured comp set. See what each hotel is charging, what availability looks like, and how rates are moving — without visiting a single OTA yourself.
The rate position tab shows your rate vs your peer group for each day across the next 14 days. A simple visual indicator — Below / In range / Above — makes your position immediately clear without interpreting numbers.
The recommendation engine runs seven rules against your rate and availability data every time you load the screen. Recommendations are prioritised, plain-English, and actionable — each one tells you exactly what to look at, why it matters, and what to consider doing.
Stop sell review
Your property is on stop sell but competitors are still selling on that date. Worth reviewing before you miss bookings.
Sold-out competitor, rate low
A competitor in your set has sold out and your rate is below the peer minimum — strong demand signal on this date.
Rate below peer range
Your rate is below what any competitor in your set is charging. You may be leaving revenue on the table.
Rate above peer range
Your rate is above the peer maximum. Worth monitoring for slow bookings on this specific date.
Minimum stay restriction
You have a minimum stay restriction active while competitors have more flexible availability.
CTA / CTD restriction
Closed to arrival or departure restriction is active while competitors are open on that date.
Competitor units running low
Competitors are running low on rooms for this date and you are in rate range — demand is building.
Last Room Value alert
Your own availability is low on a date beyond your horizon and your rate is below your LRV target. See section 5.
Recommendations cover up to 90 days ahead (depending on configuration), are capped at 20 displayed results, and are sorted by urgency. Email the full recommendation list to your reservations team directly from the screen — a one-hour cooldown prevents accidental duplicates.
When scarcity is real, your rate should reflect it. Enable the LRV rule and RateRadar will alert you whenever you have very few rooms remaining on a date beyond your chosen horizon — and your rate is still below your target floor.
When ≤2 rooms remain on a date more than 30 days away, RateRadar recommends pricing at at least £110 (£95 peer minimum + £15 LRV premium). If your current rate is £90, a high-priority LRV alert fires telling you the target and explaining the scarcity context.
For hotels with a connected PMS, the booking pace tab shows how quickly rooms are selling for each future date — and whether that pace is accelerating or slowing. A single dashboard tile surfaces the most urgent pace signal each morning.
Gap detection: if the time between snapshots is greater than 2 days, the pace tab flags this clearly so you know the velocity figures are based on a wider window than usual.
For corporate operators, serviced apartment businesses, and group agents who don't sell on OTAs, RateRadar provides a dedicated market intelligence screen designed for contract pricing and proposal preparation.
RateRadar sends market intelligence by email so your team stays informed even when they aren't logged in.
Send the current recommendation list to your reservations inbox at any time from the recommendations screen. Includes all findings with full detail and market context.
Sent every Sunday evening to your reservations email. A self-contained weekly intelligence brief covering the past fortnight and the week ahead.
Sent to area contacts and prospective subscribers — area-level market intelligence without hotel-specific data. A useful way to see the quality of RateRadar intelligence before signing up.
The RateRadar dashboard puts the four things that matter most for today's pricing decision in a clean tile layout — designed for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
